This review is way overdue but I’m finally getting to it. I’m kind of picky about where my weather data and images comes from, first place I go is the definitive source, NOAA/NWS. And I don’t need extra clutter like “bring your umbrella” alerts, news videos of a weather person reading a teleprompter, monthly (really?) forecasts, etc. This app is an exact match of what I want, it’s the same images I get on the NWS website. Then there is developer response. I live in southern Arizona, south of Tucson, and was always zooming in on Continental US to see my area. I saw that NWS offered a Southern Rockies product which is way better to see my location, so I wrote to the developers and asked about it. The immediate response I got was “we can add that.” The next message I got was “we added it, you will see it in the next update.” Then an update came out just after that, and there it was – Southern Rockies. Blew my mind, or at least I thought it was really cool. Thanks again you guys.

I love this app. I've been using it for years, especially in the hurricane season. The information is so vital and well updated, it replaces my local weather updates easily. The satellite loops are priceless and quite difficult to source anywhere else especially a good tropical Atlantic loop. Every device should have this app installed.

I love this app, for those of us that follow weather but are not Meteorologists or Storm Chasers, this is an important app to have. Radars show precipitation, but satellite views of cloud masses is important to understanding potential weather and duration. I'm a little confused what happened to the Black and White view though. Hopefully it's still there or will return in future updates, but the app is still very well done and worthwhile.
